The Pop Star Embraces a Hell Version of Her Own Identity in Mockumentary Preview
Charli XCX is getting ready for a major film onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
In the film, she embodies what she calls as a dark version of her public image.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music industry that I’ve ever witnessed, the performer stated.
She elaborated in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, however the inspiration originated from the demand to make one.
An Early Look into The Project
The debut trailer, unveiled on this week, combines actual recordings from her recent tour with fictionalized behind-the-scenes moments.
The Moment is helmed and co-scripted by her collaborator, who explained that the story centers on a reality where the singer made entirely different choices in the marketing of her hugely successful record Brat.
